2.12 gripper less-rapid prototyping [2.12 Design Notebook]
Okay so after the semi-disaster that was the last gripper design. We're going to try making this one. https://hackaday.io/project/158551/instructions
Today we aren't going to do too much - we're just going to get the 3D print files going on the Prusha printers in IDC and grab them tomorrow so we can assemble this thing tomorrow evening and re-test it. (We'll fill up the balloon less this time).
Okayyyy so they're printing! All four of the the parts are printed on PrushaI3's with 0.4mm nozzle and 80% gyroid infill 0.15mm layer height, and supports everywhere. We chose gyroid because this is kind of a pressure vessel, and gyroid will support in all directions because of the circular internal structure - even though honestly, in our application it won't matter.
Also got to teach my friend Sophia how to 3D print!
